A Community of Practice that leverages Understanding Global Change
About
The Understanding Global Chance Community of Practice involves Yearly Refresher Workshops and monthly Community of Practice meetings. These events are focussed on supporting Climate Education through sharing learning and resources with Understanding Global Change.

Each Teacher / Researcher Collaborative meeting begins with a research presentation on a climate-based phenomenon. Teams of teachers then work collaboratively with the researcher to plan out how to integrate what they learn into instructional practices with students.​

Community of Practice
This Community of Practice offers a collaborative space for educators using the Understanding Global Change framework to share resources, planning tools, and instructional strategies. Think of it as office hours led by UGC developers and experienced classroom teachers.
