Cady Staff Hwang

Cady Staff Hwang co-leads the STEAM initiative at San Diego Unified School District, where she cultivates a community of curious, creative changemakers. As a curriculum writer and professional learning facilitator, her experience is grounded in the Next Generation Science Standards, Design Thinking and Project-Based Learning. Cady is an enthusiastic educator and lifelong learner who has taught kindergarten through 12th grade over the past 20 years in education. She earned her credential and MEd from UCSD and a Masters in Teacher Leadership from the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. She loves to work together with children and educators to build a more equitable, loving and healthy world.
