Sarah Moynes

Sarah Moynes is a Science Resource Teacher in the San Diego Unified School District.  In her role she designs curriculum and implementation of relevant phenomenon based science learning, connecting student interest, cutting edge science and the scientific questions facing our society. The SDUSD science department works to build meaningful science learning through strong relationships, local, community-based partnerships and a focus on curiosity and diverse ways of knowing. In her previous role Sarah taught High School Chemistry and Biology, mentored new teachers and worked to promote NGSS in intradistrict work groups.
