In this 3-day in-person workshop for 8th-grade teachers, you will
learn how to use a series of web applications and hands-on learning
experiences to playfully explore and create sound. The applications,
that students love, were created by Victor Minces, a neuroscientist of
music and sound artist. The NGSS-aligned curriculum was developed
in collaboration with the San Diego County Office of Education. You
will leave with a copy of the "Listening to Waves" unit that can be
taught to your students this fall.
